Cheddar web design

cheddar_sketchmap_centre_250Hello!

My Cheddar web design business has been established since 2001 and I have done countless sites for businesses in Cheddar and the Cheddar Valley, surrounding villages of Axbridge, Wedmore, Shipham, and further afield in Somerset, to Glastonbury and Taunton, as well as Bristol and beyond.

My links with the local community are very strong and because I run the Cheddar Village web site, am part of the My Cheddar team, and a parish councillor. These roles give me good connections to many local business owners and leading community members. A web site that is on my books can also pick up referrals through conversations I have at various  committee meetings and business networking groups, so it’s not just about getting click-throughs. If your business is looking to serve the local community then it’s quite likely that at some point I will mention you in conversation, as a customer of mine, to someone locally who might need your product or service.

Historically, although being a well-known Somerset location, Cheddar, its shops and traders have not been well represented on the internet and my web design services have been helping to turn the tide and improve the village’s profile for some years now. Not only can I design and host your web site and help out with your social media and web marketing, but can also add you directly to local web site directories to connect you with wider Somerset business contacts.

I often provide short talks on web design, e-commerce, social media and related topics to members of Cheddar’s Business Breakfast Club and can provide 1-1 support or remote assistance for local businesses needing help with WordPress web sites. I also take care of site security uptime monitoring and software update patches so you don’t need to worry about any problems with your site going unnoticed.

If you are shopping around for Cheddar web design, please get in touch for a quote. Do watch out for those who advertise themselves in Google under “Cheddar web design” and are not actually local at all, but are part of some national network or franchise. I live here and am committed to helping keep Cheddar’s businesses visible on the internet, and whilst you might find cheaper service providers, they may not provide as comprehensive a service in the field of web site design for the small to medium sized business.

I look forward to hearing from you!
With best wishes
Martin
